I Rejected Ahaadith Until….

A brother states:

“I wish to keep my name anonymous as this is by no means something to be proud of. However I wish to share this as a means of guidance for others in shaa Allah.

I was an addict of internet lectures which includes all the youtubers (those I thought to be authentic and the likes) until my passion grew and I started listening to a modern individual (he can never be a scholar). He preached and still preaches that we should only follow the Qur’aan and there is no basis in the Shari’ah for Ahaadith. My heart sensed this to be untrue but I was not connected to my heart at the time. Rather I was connected to my lustful soul. It is only Allah Ta’ala’s mercy Who sent someone to guide me and this person said, ” everything with an Islamic name does not mean it is definitely Islam”

This mixing with the people of truth activated my heart and my senses again. I was advised incorrectly previously and I was told the wolf in Donald Trump clothing is talking a whole lot of bunkum.

Further the brother advised me to start Ta’leem at home of Fadhaail-e-A’maal.

I was abit doubtful if I should start this or not, at this point, I felt disappointed at the previous misguided individual who wanted to wipe the beautiful Ahaadith out of the Shari’ah.

However I gained courage and gathered my family members and there I opened to page 166 of Fadhaail-e-A’maal and this guidance had brought me down to my knees in gratitude. I have since repented for my evil beliefs that I once succumbed to and my wish is to inform every other individual who is or could get caught up in the mix. The incident follows:

Hadhrat Ibn Umar (Radhiyallaho anho) Replies to a Question

Somebody said to Hadhrat Ibn Umar (Radhiyallaho anhu)

“Allah has said in the Qur’an something about Salaat in peace and Salaat in fear, but He has not said any thing about Salaat during a journey.”

He replied: “0. my nephew! Allah sent Muhammad (Sal- lallaho alaihe wasallam) as his Apostle to us, when we were ignorant and knew nothing. We must do what we have seen him doing.”This shows that it is not necessary that each and every regulation should be explicitly mentioned in the Qur’an. The acts of the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) is a very good guide for our practice.

The Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) says:

“I have been given the Qur’an and also other com- mandments. Beware of the time, which is coming shortly, when carefree people sitting on their couches will say, ‘Stick to the Qur’an only. Carry out only the commandments contained therein.”

Moulana Zakariyya Khandlawi Rahmatullahi Alaihi says further:

Such corrupted views are generally inspired by arrogance due to wealth, and perhaps that is why the word “carefree” is used for such people.
