It must have been uneasy for Sayyiduna Moosa Alaihis Salam to go and refute the ideology of the man who assisted in growing him up but a Nabi is a Nabi, against all odds, they will express their human nature in the difficulty of the task only to Our Sustainer but they will not fall back on pleasing their Creator.
When the truth is slammed at them to knock out their brains, they start chasing for thoughts in all sorts of directions. They will either accuse you of being mad or accuse you of trying to drive them out of the heated seat of power.
As for Sayyiduna Moosa Alaihis Salam, they accused him of possessing great knowledge of sorcery and attempting to gain power of the land by trying to drive Firown out.
Quran – Surah No. 7 الأعراف
Ayah No. 109
قَالَ الۡمَلَاُ مِنۡ قَوۡمِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَسٰحِرٌ عَلِيۡمٌ
(109)Translation:
The chiefs of the people of Firown said, “This man is certainly a sorcerer of great knowledge.
يُّرِيۡدُ اَنۡ يُّخۡرِجَكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَرۡضِكُمۡ ۚ فَمَاذَا تَاۡمُرُوۡنَ
(110)Translation:
He wants to expel you from your land. So, what do you suggest ?”
