Can I break my fast with coke?
Answer:
No as Coke has alcohol in it. Whether one says there is a little or a lot, that is not the matter. What Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam said matters:
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ “ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ وَمَا أَسْكَرَ كَثِيرُهُ فَقَلِيلُهُ حَرَامٌ ”
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Every intoxicant is unlawful and whatever causes intoxication in large amounts, a small amount of it is (also) unlawful.”
