A Senior Khalifah of Hadhrat Sheikhul Hadith Moulana Zakariyya Rahmatallahi Alaihi, Haaji Nakhooda Rahmatullahu ‘Alaihi whom both had passed away and buried Medinah Munawwarah had warned us in our youth of certain individuals.
We came back from a Seerah Jalsah all proud and happy, then decided to meet Haji Saheb Rahmatullahi ‘Alaihi. Haji Saheb was in bed sipping on soup as per diet. When he (Rahmatullahi ‘Alaihi) enquired, “where do you boys come from?” We thought he would be proud of us as we ‘only’ went for a Deeni program.
When we said, “Seerah Jalsah”., his facial expression and colour changed. He reprimanded us there and there. Cautioning clearly of TV actors, and clearly said, “Stay away from people who go on TV”. From that day Alhamdulillah we never put a toe in any of their Seerah Jalsah’s. This the Barakah of clear Nahi Anil Munkar!
