It changes the taste of the meal. Do it, not because it is positive parenting but do it because it is Sunnah and that will include positive parenting.

The Quraan Shareef and Sunnah teaches us that yes the man is the head but he does not sit like a dictator but he sits on the floor with his family with no such a concept of sitting by the head of the table.
Our Deen is beautiful. We forgot our Deen. We find it amazing when they discover but we supposed to be teaching them what is amazing.
