Whilst Salafis celebrate valentines day Kuffaar style naming it Yawmul Hubb (يوم الحب) many attempt to cause corruption and stop true worshippers from worshipping by placing a barrier of doubt for many of us whose hearts are rusted due to the profusion of sins and look to this night as a way to be forgiven, they should consider if they are true Salafis. The Hadith is authenticated by their Sheikh too, Sheikh Al Baani:
Abu Tha’labah Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu reported: The Sallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam, said, “On the middle night of Sha’ban, Allah looks down upon His creation and He forgives the believers, gives respite to the unbelievers, and He abandons the people of malice to their malice until they give it up.”

عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ لَيْلَةُ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ اطَّلَعَ اللهُ إِلَى خَلْقِهِ فَيَغْفِرُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ وَيُمْلِي لِلْكَافِرِينَ وَيَدَعُ أَهْلَ الْحِقْدِ بِحِقْدِهِمْ حَتَّى يَدَعُوهُ
